As November settles in, we find ourselves reflecting on all we’re thankful for. At the top of that list? You.
Whether you're a local customer dropping off shirts and winter coats, or a bridal boutique shipping us a preservation order from across the country, your trust means the world to us. It’s because of you that we’re able to do what we love—and give back while doing it.
🎀 October’s Blessing Fund: United Breast Cancer Foundation
Last month, our Blessing Fund supported the United Breast Cancer Foundation 🎀, an organization committed to research, patient care, and survivor support.
We chose this organization because breast cancer touches so many lives—including our customers’, our team members’, and our families’. This donation was made in honor of the strength, healing, and courage woven into every story of survival.
🥫 This Month’s Focus: Community Action House
In November, we’re turning our focus to something close to home: food security and human dignity.
Our Blessing Fund this month will be donated to Community Action House right here in Holland. Their team works tirelessly to provide food, housing, and support to neighbors in need—especially during the colder months and holiday season.
We’re proud to support their work. And we’re proud to say that every time you choose Great Lakes Clothing & Gown Care or Wed Company Wedding Wear, you’re part of that support too.
🌿 Ongoing Partnerships
Giving back isn’t just something we do once a month. It’s part of how we operate, year-round.
Here are three ongoing partnerships that we’re committed to supporting every single month:
Hope Pkgs – We collect essential items for kids and teens entering foster care. Donation bins are located in both of our Holland locations.
Abigail’s Attic – We accept donated wedding gowns at our Lakewood lobby to help support young women and children through repurposed bridal resale.
Great Lakes Business Network – As a member of this coalition, we’re helping protect the water and natural beauty of the Great Lakes through responsible business practices and environmental advocacy.
