Thanks for Caring! Help Us Celebrate the People Who Make a Difference πŸ’™

Who are you thankful for?

Maybe it's a neighbor who always lends a hand. A friend who knows just when to call. A teacher who goes the extra mile. A family member who quietly takes care of everyone else.

At Great Lakes Clothing & Gown Care, we believe these everyday acts of kindness deserve to be recognized!

That's why our November Great Lakes Cares initiative is called Thanks for Caring!

A Little Gratitude Goes a Long Way

From November 6–28, we're inviting our customers to help fill our Gratitude Walls at both Holland locations with colorful notes of appreciation.

And we'd love for you to participate!

Here's how it works:

  1. Think of someone you're thankful for. It can be anyone in the Lakeshore or Greater Grand Rapids area who has made a difference in your life.

  2. Write them a note. On a Post-it, write their name and a few words about why you appreciate them.

  3. Add your contact information. Write your own name and phone number on the back so we can reach you if your nomination is selected.

  4. Add it to our Gratitude Wall! We'll display the notes throughout November as a colorful celebration of caring.

Two Special People Will Receive a Gift Basket!

On Monday, November 30, we'll randomly select one nomination from each store.

Each selected nominee will receive a gift basket filled with goodies from local businesses!

We'll contact the people who submitted the winning nominations to help us connect with the recipients. Our goal is to announce both winners on November 30, once they've been confirmed.

Stop By and Share Your Gratitude!

Visit either of our Holland locations between November 6 and November 28:

Great Lakes Clothing Care
983 Butternut Drive, Holland

Great Lakes Gown Care / Wed Co.
11276 E. Lakewood Boulevard, Holland

No purchase is necessary to participate.

Because Caring for What Matters Is About People

November is National Family Caregivers Month and National Gratitude Month, making it a wonderful time to recognize the people who give so much of themselves.

But you don't have to be a professional caregiver to make a difference.

Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impressions.

We hope our Gratitude Walls become a reminder of just how much caring happens throughout our community.

Who are you thankful for? Stop by and help us say, β€œThanks for Caring!”

We Care for What Matters.

Please avoid including private or sensitive information in the publicly displayed messages. Contact information should be written on the back of the note.
